Pay attention to four aspects and two choices when purchasing brake pads.
Four aspects - First, look at the friction coefficient. The friction coefficient determines the basic brake pad braking torque. If it is too high, it will cause wheel locking, loss of control and pad burning during braking. If it is too low, the braking distance will be too long;
Second, look at safety. Brake pads will generate instantaneous high temperature during braking, especially when driving at high speed or emergency braking. Under high temperature conditions, the friction coefficient of the friction pad will decrease;
Third, look at whether it is comfortable, including braking feel, noise, dust, smoke, odor, etc., which is a direct reflection of friction performance;
Fourth, look at the lifespan. Usually, brake pads can guarantee a service life of 30,000 kilometers.
Two choices - First, you should choose automobile brake pads produced by regular manufacturers with license numbers, specified friction coefficients, and implementation standards, and the packaging box should have a certificate of conformity, production batch number, production date, etc.;
Second, choose to go to a professional repair point and ask professionals to install it.
